About these terms
This website is operated by ProtecTRON Australia Pty Ltd (ProtecTRON Australia, we, us or our). These terms describe the conditions on which we make the public website at protectron-aus.com.au, including its www address and protectron-aus.vercel.app, and its content available.
Please read these terms before using the website. If you do not agree, please stop using it and contact us if you need information through another channel. These terms cover website use only; browsing or submitting an enquiry does not create a software licence, subscription, investigation engagement or obligation to pay.
Separate agreements
Software access, evaluations, demonstrations, investigations and services may require separate written agreements. Licensing, scope, pricing, support, service levels, warranties, data handling and confidentiality are governed by the applicable agreement, not established by this website or an enquiry.
A separate agreement prevails over these terms for its subject matter. These terms do not amend an existing licence, services agreement or non-disclosure agreement, or authorise access to any third party's systems or data.
Content and intellectual property
Website content, branding and graphics belong to ProtecTRON Australia or their respective owners or licensors. You may view, download and print reasonable extracts for personal use or internal business evaluation if you preserve ownership notices, acknowledge the source and do not alter the material in a misleading way.
Except where permitted by law or an applicable licence, obtain permission before republishing substantial portions, selling content, incorporating it into another commercial offering, or using branding to suggest endorsement or affiliation. Statutory exceptions and other rights permitted by law are not limited.
You may link accurately to public pages without disguising the source, implying endorsement or bypassing access controls. Website access does not grant rights to operate, copy or reverse-engineer Protectron software.
Responsible use and security
Use the website lawfully and without interfering with other users or the security of our systems. Do not attempt unauthorised access, bypass controls, introduce malicious code, materially disrupt availability, impersonate another person, or submit unlawful or infringing material.
Do not conduct vulnerability testing without prior written authorisation. To report a suspected issue, email a non-sensitive description to the contact below and ask for a secure channel before sharing exploit details, credentials or exposed information.
Enquiries and sensitive information
The enquiry form prepares an email in your email application. You must review and send it there; the website does not send it automatically. A copyable draft and a direct-email contact are provided if the handoff is unavailable.
Only share information you are authorised to provide. Do not send passwords, access tokens, forensic images, incident evidence, classified material or unnecessary personal information through this public form or ordinary email. Contact us first to arrange an appropriate secure channel and confidentiality terms where needed.
An enquiry does not itself establish an NDA or a commitment to investigate an incident or supply products or services. You retain ownership of material you provide; we may use it to assess and respond to your enquiry, subject to applicable law and any existing confidentiality obligations.
These terms do not seek blanket consent to marketing or unrelated use of personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how website and enquiry information is handled, including access, correction and complaints. For privacy questions, contact rob.slattery@tronlabs.ai.
External sites and availability
External links may be provided for convenience. Unless expressly stated, a link is not an endorsement. Third-party sites have their own terms, privacy practices and security arrangements, and we do not control their content or operation.
We seek to maintain a useful website but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may take proportionate steps to restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security threat or a legal requirement. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain a restriction and consider requests to restore access. A website restriction does not itself change a separate customer agreement.
Your rights and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. See the ACCC's guidance on contracts and consumer rights.
Subject to those protections, we do not give additional warranties about the public website's uninterrupted availability, completeness or suitability for a particular purpose. This does not limit an express commitment in a separate agreement or excuse misleading conduct.
Responsibility for loss or damage is determined under applicable law. These terms do not require you to indemnify ProtecTRON Australia or waive claims arising from our negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct. Product and service liability arrangements belong in the relevant agreement, subject to applicable law.
Changes, governing law and disputes
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the website, our operations or applicable law. Published revisions will identify their effective date. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable, including through the website, and obtain consent or give further notice where required by law. Changes apply prospectively, do not remove accrued rights and do not retrospectively amend separate agreements.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and applicable Commonwealth laws. Subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere, you and ProtecTRON Australia submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of ACT courts and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
Please contact us with concerns so we can try to resolve them. This does not prevent urgent relief, contact with a regulator or exercise of statutory rights. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent they can operate lawfully.
